Behind the Design: Cookie Cart Chefs' Dinner 2019
My favorite things? Empowering young people in the Twin Cities, and cookies. That's why I was so excited when I had the opportunity to design a logo and brand for Cookie Cart's 2019 Chefs Dinner.
The theme of the 2019 dinner is "Neighborhood Flavors." The folks at Cookie Cart, an organization with locations in both Minneapolis and St. Paul, planned to use the dinner as an opportunity to showcase the many talented chefs and global cuisines that we enjoy here in the Twin Cities. Because of this, I used bright, overlapping colors to represent the neighborhoods and cuisines on display at the event.
I even had a little fun with some neighborhood-inspired brand colors:
